Graduation photography

High School Graduation is an incredibly exciting time for everyone involved.  When I was a teacher and then a principal, Grad was one of my favourite events of the year.  I loved working with my grade 12 students and their parents.  They had worked so hard to get to this point, and the pride, the sense of accomplishment and the excitement about launching into the next phase of life was infectious.  I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Grads.

To celebrate this milestone moment, I developed the Graduation Portrait Experience.  While cap and gown photos are nice they don’t showcase the hopes and dreams, the interests, the character or the unique qualities of the student.  Students have worked hard and deserve something that really celebrates them.  

I work closely with students and their parents to find out who they are and what makes them special, then develop a distinctive, multi-location photo shoot that beautifully captures their unique qualities.  Do they love horses, cars, music, sports?  What will they do for post-secondary? Are they kind, generous, funny, serious? It all gets considered and the result is an incredibly memorable experience with images and artwork that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Graduation Portrait Experiences are $200 for a 2-hour session.  After viewing grads and their families are able to purchase digital files, prints, wall art or albums. While there is no obligation families generally spend an additional $500-$2000 on products.
